Longitudinal health intelligence for dogs and cats

You track your own healthspan. Now do it for your dog or cat.

You already think in trajectories, not single readings — for yourself. Pawline brings the same longitudinal, whole-body, vet-signed rigour to your pet: every bloodwork panel, every test kit, every observation, read together over time.

What goes in

Every test you’ve already done.

Vet bloodwork

Upload any IDEXX, Antech, or in-house chemistry panel as a PDF. Pawline reads it. SDMA, NT-proBNP, ALT, the lot.

Consumer test kits

Embark, AnimalBiome, Basepaws, Volition Nu.Q. Brought into the same record as your vet results.

Observations

Weight, body condition, appetite, activity. The little things that turn into trajectory.

What comes out

One signed dashboard, eight body systems.

Pawline organises your pet’s record across the body systems a vet thinks in, with status and trajectory per system. Each tile opens to the markers and observations behind it.

Cardiac

NT-proBNP, breed risk, resting respiratory rate

Renal

SDMA trajectory, creatinine, BUN, USG

Hepatic

ALT, ALP, GGT, bile acids

Metabolic & Endocrine

Glucose, T4, cortisol, body condition

GI & Microbiome

Faecal microbiome, B12, appetite, stool

Immune & Inflammatory

CRP, fibrinogen, WBC differential

Cancer Risk

Nu.Q nucleosomes, breed and age risk

Cognitive

CADES, behavioural change, sleep

The thing your vet wishes they had time for

Direction matters more than any single number.

An SDMA value of 13 µg/dL is unremarkable in isolation. The same value on the third reading over eighteen months — after the prior two were 9 and 11 — is a different signal.

The marker hasn’t crossed any threshold. The direction has. That’s the kind of finding Pawline exists to surface.

Bella, Cocker Spaniel, 8 yrs

  • Weight12.1 → 12.4 kg
  • SDMA9 → 13 µg/dL
  • ALT38 → 42 U/L

Each line shows the same pet, three readings, twelve months apart.

Vet-signed, not AI-released

Every assessment reviewed and signed by a licensed veterinary surgeon.

The AI drafts. A vet edits and signs. Nothing reaches you raw. Pawline is informed by published veterinary literature; it is not an externally validated diagnostic instrument and does not replace your veterinarian’s judgement.

How it works

From PDF to signed report in 24-48 hours.

  1. 1

Add a pet and any data you have

Upload bloodwork PDFs, paste in markers, attach kit results, log observations. Pawline normalises everything into one record.

  2. 2

    Pawline runs the body-systems synthesis

Claude Opus 4.7 reads the record across the eight body systems, scores each, and drafts a narrative — but the draft is not yet released.

  3. 3

A vet reviews, edits, and signs

A licensed veterinary surgeon reviews the AI draft against the data, edits where the language needs softening or the emphasis needs adjusting, and signs off.

  4. 4

You get the dashboard, score, and PDF report

Body-systems tiles. Healthspan Score. Trajectory chart. Downloadable PDF for your records or a second-opinion vet.

FAQ

Common questions.

  • How is this different from my regular vet?

Pawline doesn't replace your vet. It sits alongside the relationship and does the longitudinal synthesis your vet rarely has time for during a 15-minute appointment — pulling every test you've done, every kit, every observation into one record and reading the trajectory. Your vet still handles diagnosis, treatment, and emergencies.

  • Who reviews the AI's output?

A licensed veterinary surgeon reviews and signs off every assessment before it reaches you. The AI drafts the narrative across the eight body systems; a vet edits where the language needs softening or the emphasis needs adjusting, and signs. Nothing reaches you raw.

  • What data does Pawline accept?

Bloodwork PDFs from any vet (IDEXX, Antech, in-house printouts — Pawline reads them automatically), consumer test kits (Embark, Wisdom Panel, AnimalBiome, Basepaws, Volition Nu.Q), and structured owner observations like weight, body condition, appetite, and activity. Wearables (Apple Health, FitBark) are on the roadmap.

  • Is the Healthspan Score validated?

It is a clinical composite informed by published veterinary literature. It is not an externally validated diagnostic instrument and should not replace your vet's judgement. We're transparent about this — every report and every dashboard renders the disclaimer alongside the number.

  • Why is Pawline priced the way it is?

Every assessment carries a veterinary surgeon's review and signature — a clinician reads the synthesis against your pet's data, adjusts the emphasis, and signs off before you ever see it. You're paying for longitudinal clinical interpretation and that signature, not an automated report. It's the standard of preventive attention you'd hold for your own health, applied to an animal that ages several times faster than you do and can't tell you what's changed.

  • Can I cancel any time?

Yes. Membership is monthly or annual via Stripe. From your account you can switch between monthly and annual, update payment, view invoices, or cancel any time. Your pet's full record stays available — nothing you've built is locked behind the subscription.

  • Is my pet's data secure?

Pawline uses Firebase Auth with passwordless email-link sign-in (no passwords to leak), HttpOnly session cookies, and PostgreSQL with append-only observation rows for audit traceability. Stripe handles payment data — Pawline never sees a card number.
